Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I'm KannaOphelia on AO3 and Yuletide is one of the highlights of my year.

This letter is long, but I hope it's not intimidating. Apart from restating the requests, these are just some optional prompts and longer lists of things of likes in case you want some extra guidance/inspiration. If there's an idea in your head that I haven't prompted for, I want you to go with it. Most of all I want you to have fun with your pinch hit/assignment, and I am looking forward to anything you come up with.

Angels and demons (especially demons) oh my! Promotion post:In Nomine

I'm slightly obsessed with the Demon Prince of Media with his glossy dangerous smarm and his slang and his forward-thinking approach to that whole silly War on Heaven thing. He's the ultimate Impudite to me. But this is one request where I don't necessarily need the fic to focus on Nybbas himself (although I would love that!) - I would be equally happy with a story about his Word or servitors or daily life in Perdition instead. Anything Nybbas-related would give me such joy.

If you want to write shipfic, I strongly prefer m/m for Nybbas (yes, I know they are all technically genderless) and, if explicit, with cocks. I have some suggested ships in my letter, mostly other Demon Princes, but I am really happy with any m/m ship you want to write for him, from an OC to an Archangel.

No need for happy endings in this canon. Any rating!

I was really taken by the idea that Nybbas is convinced that if Eli would only Fall, they could be BFFs (or more?) forever. This must be incredibly irritating to the most laid-back Archangel... Or tempting?

I really love girls' boarding school books, and DFB is one of my favourite authors. This is such a good example of what she does best — a tight focus on the relationships between teenage girls. Also, it stands alone well and is available domain free. I made a promo post here.

For me this book is all about Toby's crush on Dorinda and gradual winning of her over. I very much read Dorinda as being in love with her straight best friend (that telling comment that Jill hardly knew how devoted Dorinda was to her) when a new, annoying girl comes along who actually can offer what Jill doesn't. Jill herself seems rather bemused by it all. I love fic about Toby and Dorinda coming to a full realisation of what their relationship could be, and how they handle it in the repressive atmosphere of an early 1930s boarding school. (After all, DFB did invent the Anti-Soppists...)

If you prefer gen, canon-typical hijinks would be great - daring rescues, games (do St Githa's play lacrosse or hockey or netball in winter?), or the kind of friendship drama and angst DFB does so well.

An unexpected, impulsive kiss, and the girls having to figure out what it means and where to go from there
Dorinda realising just how devoted Toby is to her, and how hopeless any feelings for Jill are... can she move on to a girl who is offering her heart on a platter?
The quest of the Ark of the Convenant is kind of unique in school stories. I would love to see Toby seeking out other mystical relics (the sword of Arthur, perhaps?) - and with either a realistic results or taking a right-turn into fantasy when they turn out to be real
I really like honour and loyalty clashes in school stories, and this book does that oh so well. More of Toby being torn apart would be wonderful

Dress-up game with historical figures and serial killers! Promotion post: Time Princess/Have You Seen Claudia?

Have You Seen Claudia? is my favourite Time Princess Story. I have to admit I didn't know H. H. Holden was a real person, so I just enjoyed it as a Gothic thriller. But my favourite bit was the relationship between Edith and Layla.
I ship them like fire -- Layla's jealousy of Josh and her insistence that Edith would never be interested in Holden was great - and I wished there had been a clear romantic ending for them. Layla is so funny and adorable, and so determinedly brave despite her very real fears and trauma. She deserved to get the girl.

If ship-fic isn't your thing, I would adore Edith and Layla continuing their career as intrepid lady detectives, either as more Gothic melodrama or as high-spirited adventures, with or without Joshua (see note below).

Oh, and clothes. I do enjoy clothes porn - after all, I'm a Time Princess addict.

A special note on the ending twist: you can respect that or AU it out of existence as you choose.

Edith and Layla's domesticity is a lot like marriage. Edith realises this and that perhaps her feelings for Layla are also like marriage...
Gothic escapades! Either within canon or not. The girls hiding together, on the run, full melodrama... and a few cinches and clinging together would be wonderful
One of the girls is in peril, and the other comes to her rescue in swooningly heroic ways
Layla becomes more obvious in her possessiveness, jealousy and courtship of her beloved Edith
Lady detectives! I would love more of Edith and Layla solving mysteries. If you choose to ignore the twist ending, feel free to include Joshua, as his bickering with Layla over Edith was great.
